Block any Website you want, without any Software

If you want any website to be blocked from browsing in your PC, this can be easily done without using any software. Just follow these steps.
a). Browse C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
b). Find and open the file named “hosts” in notepad (Right click-Open with-Notepad)
c). There you will see a line “127.0.0.1 localhost”
d). Just under this line add “127.0.0.1
www.sitenameuwanttoblock.com” , without quotes.(Replace the required site name)
You can add any number of sites like this. Save the changes and the mentioned site will no longer be accessible.
In case of reverting to original status, delete the additional entries made and save it.

Batch file for direct access Website

Now most of our office work depend upon websites. It is very difficult to remember the address of all websites. For this we can take the help of Batch files.

Steps:
1.Open notepad
2.Type the following script
start iexplore http://www.sapost.blogspot.com/
(replace the URL of required website in the place of http://www.sapost.blogspot.com/)
3.Save the notepad.
4.Rename notepad as saindiapost.bat (Name may be anything but extension must be .bat)

This script works in Internet Explorer

You have lost a very important file and want a quick way to find in your system for this i will recommends you, try to search a file with its file extensions (for example for word file, type *.doc, Excel *.xls, Acrobat *.pdf, *.ppt and *.exe for executable files.

If you don't know the name of file but know that it contains a string of text then try to search for files containing specific text, type the text you want to find from any file or folder. This is time taking process but creates very precise result. In Look in, click the drive, folder, or network you want to search. To save time, always select the specified drive or location instead of whole computer.

To specify additional search criteria, click Search Options, and then click one or more of the following options to narrow your search:

• Select Date to look for files that were created or modified on or between specific dates.
• Select Type to look for files of a specific type, such as a text or WordPad document.
• Select Size to look for files of a specific size.
• Select Advanced Options to specify additional search criteria.
• Click Search now

How to Convert Word Document to JPEG

Learn how to convert Word Documents to JPEG (image) format. First of all you need to download the Universal Document Converter from Print Driver. Once you download the software, make sure you install it before you are ready to convert the doc to JPEG. When you are done with that, go ahead and open the document that you want to convert in Microsoft Word. Then go to the print button under the File menu. There you will have the option to select printers.

Select “Universal Document Converter” and hit the “Properties” button. Select “Document to JPEG” and hit “Ok”. Then press “OK” in the Microsoft print window dialog and it will start converting. Once its done, it will be, by default saved to the C:\UDC Output Files folder and then the document will open in the Microsoft Picture Viewer or any other program assigned by you for viewing images.
